Funders: This team is funded by the Canadian Institute of Health Research.

CIHR Branding Statement: “CIHR CanWheel Emerging team in Wheeled Mobility for Older Adults (AMG-100925)”

Institutional Support:  The primary host institutions are UBC and the Vancouver Costal Health Research Institute (VCHRI). However, the institutions of Co-PIs Demers (University of Montreal) and Kirby (Dalhousie) will also play an important role. UBC and VCHRI will provide our team with support for grant facilitation and development, support staff to handle meeting logistics, and potential seed funds (e.g., VCHRI’s “In It for Life” high-risk funds) to be used for leveraging larger operating dollars.
