Access to Fly

Co-developing recommendations and resources to support safe and pleasant air travel for people with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)

This is a collaboration between the University of British Columbia and the University of Illinois Chicago. The overall goal of the Access to Fly study is to use evidence and user-feedback to develop training recommendations and resources for airline and airport personnel. If you are an individual with SCI, we would like to learn about your air travel experiences, your accessibility needs, the barriers you have encountered, and your suggestions. Participation would involve a 60-minute interview over a teleconferencing platform (Zoom).

Who are we looking for:

Canadian residents with SCI who have travelled by air within Canada in the last two years.
